NORRIEGO POINT LAND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT

On Monday, April 11, 2005, the City of Destin approved Pointe One, LLC’s Land Development Plan. This condominium will consist of 79 dwelling units, parking garage, and swimming pools as part of a 9 story structure complex (125 feet from lowest finished floor of the parking garage to the highest roof per the Land Development Code height definition or 94 feet from the FEMA Base Flood Elevation to the cornice line of the building per the City adopted Comprehensive Plan: 2010 height definition). This project is located on a vacant parcel, which is located northwest of East Pass Towers – Phase I. Pointe One, LLC’s proposed marina was not included in this Land Development Agreement Plan.

Holiday Isle Improvement Association, Inc. finalized a Settlement Agreement with Pointe One, LLC. This agreement is available for review in the association’s office.

HOLIDAY ON THE HARBOR

A great big thank you for your participation in our Third Annual Holiday on the Harbor - lighting of the harbor and canals. Over 60 homes and townhomes decorated this year. It was a beautiful way to show off our community and holiday spirit. If you did not have an opportunity to participate this year, we hope that you will take the opportunity to share in the holiday season with your neighbors in Holiday Isle next year. Please contact HIIA, Inc. at 837-4753 to volunteer for this committee. We hope to make this BIGGER, BETTER, and PRETTIER EVENT EACH YEAR!

The Enhancement Committee welcomes suggestions, ideas and volunteers. Please call Kay Hines at 654-6078.

DEBRIS

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE TRASH OR DEBRIS OF ANY KIND IN VACANT LOTS. This is unhealthy, dangerous and unsightly to Holiday Isle. When owners have debris to dispose of, please call WASTE MANAGEMENT at (850) 862-7141. Contractors and landscapers must dispose of their materials and debris and many need to have a dumpster on site. Be sure you notify your contractors or landscapers to remove construction, remodeling, or landscaping debris and materials. If you see anyone violating this, please notify the office.

It is also necessary for you to have your storm debris out and separated as the City requires by the date that they schedule a pickup after a hurricane. Please adhere to their scheduled pickup date. Your can obtain this information from the City of Destin or the Destin Log newspaper.

We greatly appreciate your SUPPORT on this continuous issue for our association!
